Kierra Pean
Kierra Pean is a first-year Applied Psychology MA student at the Rutgers University Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. She received her BA in psychology and communication with a focus in health and wellness from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. She is a Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate alumna, and through that program conducted a study with the Rutgers Intensive Recovery Treatment Support Program on the recidivism rates of recently released inmates. As part of the TRACC-RU program, she is under the mentorship of Dr. Denise Hien working in the Trauma and Addiction Project lab.
