Genefer Duran

Genefer Duran is a graduate of The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at The City College of New York and a current medical student at the CUNY School of Medicine. Her interest in pursuing a medical program stems from her upbringing as well as her interest in finding reasoning behind outcomes. Genefer values the learning process that comes along with research. At TRACC, under the mentorship of Dr. Aimee Campbell, Genefer studied how opioid use disorders may play a role in individuals who experience co-occurring anxiety disorder.
